The Wolf Among Us is finally on the way and we can download it the first week of February! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s an adapted video game from the Fables comics and it’s from the creators of The Walking Dead video game.
This is TellTale’s fantasy noir adventure, where you play as a wolf in a fairy tale setting. Only in this game, all fairy tale charcters are grim and edgy…curse words and all. It’s good!
You play this one the same way as The Walking Dead. You select the responses and every action comes with a consequence that unfolds different situations and endings. Check out the demo on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
Sources have revealed that Johnny Depp met with Marvel Studios to discuss the role of Doctor Strange. How cool would that be!?
Supposedly the talk “went nowhere” but others are saying this is definitely something that’s moving forward if they can find time between his next Pirates of the Caribbean movie and Alice in Wonderland 2. Squeeeeeee!
An anonymous group of people have formed an official religion centered around Kanye called Yeezianity. According to its website, the group “believes that the one who calls himself Yeezus is a divine being who has been sent by God to usher in a New Age of humanity.”
Members keep their identities quiet and only reveal their affiliation to those they already know are Yeezians. “We could be anyone you know, from your mailman to the mayor of your city,” the website says. Here are the religion’s five pillars:
1. All things created must be for the good of all
2. No human being’s right to express themselves must ever be repressed
3. Money is unnecessary except as a means of exchange
4. Man possesses the power to create everything he wants and needs
5. All human suffering exists to stimulate the creative powers of Man
Dang Yall…this is Yee-sanity!
At the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, Showtime’s president, David Nevins, revealed there’s still a chance for a Dexter spinoff. And that if it happens, it would be about… Dexter.
Said Nevins, “It’s something we continue to talk about. If we were to do it, we would have to have a very good reason to do it. It would have to feel like it’s a new show. I’m not interested in doing it if it’s just a continuation… There have been some light, ongoing conversations. It hasn’t really gone anywhere yet.”
Waaaaht. Nevins also said ___ (no spoilers here yall) had to die:
“The fundamental design of where they ended Dexter was really well-conceived. He had to sacrifice the one person who was closest to him in the world and he had to leave and that was where it was headed for a very long time.
I won’t ruin it for anybody but I hated the ending! Watch it for yourself though; complete series is on the Netflix stream!

Dexter is coming to Netflix!!! …Or I’ll re-phrase that, it’s coming BACK to the Netflix stream! Starting Halloween, the first four seasons will be available. Then, come January 1st, seasons 5 - 8 will be on there too. (Deb has the best lines in this series!!)
This will be your chance to get hooked on what was a fantastic show yall. I do have my issues with the series finale though, so once you’re done with it, we’ll talk.
Side Note: More Netflix news: Their original show, House of Cards, is in talks for a third season…YES!!!
The Golden Girls Lego Set!!! It’s sold out on Etsy http://www.etsy.com/listing/166059870/the-golden-girls-lego-set
According to a post on Facebook from Clive Barker himself; He will be the one writing the Hellraiser remake! Yeah I don’t like remakes either but freakin Clive Barker is back! The last Hellraiser movie that was released (on Netflix) was so bad it did not get the approval of Barker, so this remake is a good thing! You can read the full post on his FB but I pulled out the best part for you:
A few weeks ago I had a very productive meeting with Bob Weinstein of Dimension Pictures,in the course of which I pitched a remake of the first HELLRAISER film… Today I have officially been invited to write the script based upon that pitch. What can I tell you about it?Well, it will not be a film awash with CGI. I remain as passionate about the power of practical make-up effects as I was when I wrote and directed the first HELLRAISER.
OH AND THE GUY WHO ORIGINALLY PLAYED PINHEAD (Doug Bradley) IS BACK TOO!!! Dang this is going to be good!
